Works most of the time but it depends on how the dev coded the game.
Some devs go out of their way to prevent it but it generally works.
universal renpy mod URM is good way to force game to access the locked content by turning variables to true and stuff without need to go into the folders outside the game.
How to do it is generally just check variables. I am sure some youtube vid out there shows how to make it work.
Highlight choices and then see conditions on choices is also nice.

It's perfect, I was wondering if there was something that would indicate what variables are triggering what stuff, and this is it. Sometimes it's the simplest of things that bring the greatest pleasure!

It's not my favorite but i can do with HS ones but i can't with Koikatsu, it's a boner killer to me.

There needs to be balance for me to fully unlock my pleasure center. If the writing is poorly executed then it doesn't matter if the renders are the best I've ever seen. On the flip side if the story is compelling then I can slap it around to two stick figures playing tiddly winks behind the shed.

That's honestly how I feel about Ruin Me. Great game, fascinating writing... And the art is... There. It's certain there. And the game is far more enjoyable than any game with competent art and piss poor writing
