I was up in the Midwest for a few years and got into hockey a bit, but now that I'm back home, it's a no go. After getting disgusted with all the politics that got into baseball & football, I quit watching. Would possibly give hockey another chance if it was regularly available down here.

I have been on a Monty Python kick here lately.

Been on one since high school (so over four decades!).

Got the entire "Flying Circus" on DVD nearly 20 years ago and have all the movies. Fun stuff.

Just play Crusader Kings II or III best politics is seduction and murder...

My youngest just had his season cut short last week...broken arm in game..he plays on a travel team, been from michigan to alabama and north carolina to st. louis and points in between.

I agree, I quit with football several years ago. Wife blames me for kids playing hockey.. went to physical therapy session and played sled hockey and the 2 youngest got hooked....

she actually loves the game now...even watches nhl games on tv now. Youngest already got ejected from a game for fighting. His highlight was last season when he went to Detroit to play a Can-Am tourney for Team USA 12U. Played against canadian teams in front of scouts and all.

I'm actually curious are there similar rules to for the offside in basketball/football in hockey or does everyone swarm the opposing team that has the puck then spread out during offence?

offsides is determined by the puck must cross the blue line into offensive zone before player can. You can't have a teammate hanging out in the O zone waiting for the puck.
