As we are talking about pets it’s always a joy for me when I see people talking about their pets and discussing their wee mannerisms and quirks.

In relation to how you get you’re dog to take their pills, my trick is to give them a cocktail sausage stuffed with the pill inside but make sure to give them at least one regular sausage to fool them.

Personally I dont like giving my dog the sausage and try to keep him off the pills, but might come handy one day. thanks for sharing

You can always substitute it for something else It just needs to be in the same shape as a sausage.

Anyway I’m always happy to discuss our incredible Animal companions no matter the species, shape or size.
Though I’m better with the following dogs, cats(50/50) birds, pigs, horse, deer (funny story about this one) and goats/sheep.

I wish it was that easy to do it with cats, I have to disolve the pill in water, mix it with malt in a oral syringe and wrestle with them to then have to bribe them with treats to save myself from scratches.

It's just a matter of likes, I don't mind at all having to fight them a little to ensure they stay healthy for as long as possible, also the cuddles after sure do make up for any problem they can give

Some cats are more trouble than others. For instance others have issues trimming their nails but my cat has no problems with it, he sometimes will try to get up but otherwise doesn't scratch or bite me for it. He doesn't scratch at all just play bites and swats with no claws when he's trying to play.

Only time he's ever scratched me was when he bounced on my mom's dog's face when it kept chasing him around. He used to it being quiet at my place and liked playing with her cat but when the dog did it he tried to fuck em up and I got hit with it pulling him off the dog.

Otherwise he's just an attention whore (specifically from me, he is scared of other people) and food. He'll play with shit he can swat across the floor easy and chase it but otherwise is relaxed 90% of the time.

Thats also true, and is not like troublesome cats are always trouble, my two cat are completely different.
The gal being a complete princess that always try to be a refined lady and just goes around the house for places to relax or asking for cuddles, only giving trouble when she had to be given meds, and even then not as much as other cats I know

The boy is a mass of concentrated energy and demanding attention all the time, but when he needs to stay still to give him his inhalator he is a very good boy

So how the heck is everyone tonight?
Every have an idea or thought that you didn't know how to apply to something? Having that issue, with trying to learn what programs to use and where to start with 3d asset programs to make a VN. I feel so overwhelmed.

Doing prrrreeetty good. Got some good news on from my job.

I get that feeling every time I open Vscode and get to work on a project . The ways of coding remain ever elusive no matter how many years I put into it.

You are describing my day to day as an aspiring game designer, need to spend days searching for pretty specific things and learn how to do it just for it to be discarded every time.



Trying to start everything at once can be sooooooo overwhelming, my tip is that if you wanna create the 3D art for a game, forget the game for now and focus first in doing static scenes, just the characters in the scene without any animation and not even a bit of code, just the image render. When you feel good with them you then can put those images in a game or start trying to animate then.
Game making is a slow process, even as someone that has been doing it for a couple years, not really a veteran I'm still a newbie trying to enter the professional wold, you don't have to expect to have your game ready in less than half a year, specially if it's your first one.

Edit: I can't really help much with 3D software as I'm more of a designer and programmer

Tried that, all my renders turned out like shit.
Turns out you can't just read the documentation and make quality product <

Maybe one day I'll put the 1000 hours in to make my smutty incest game a reality.

In my experience, once you get the pill in a cat's mouth they're pretty quick to swallow it. Dogs, on the other hand, will hold that shit in their mouth forever unless you get it far enough back they don't have a choice. I've spent the better part of an hour holding a dog's mouth shut to get it to swallow a pill. Never took more than 30 seconds with a cat.

When I dropped in tonight, my coins looked weird. Noticed that some time before 1PM USCST reactions went up to 8LC and posts are now worth 7LC. Did a quick search, but didn't see an announcement about anything being "on special" or permanent. Anyone know what's up (other than the reward amounts...)?

It's surprising the amount of pet food that is safe for human consumption, even some zoo feed for the mammals is surprisingly safe to eat, the eating experience is another thing.
I remember someone surviving out of horse vitamins and monkey feed and posting it in some forum as a money-saving diet, it was like 50 bucks for 3 months of feed and vitamins.

Also as a cat owner I can assure that their food is pretty tasty, but the ones I buy for my little ones is not really the cheap option.

I saw a post about how somebody only bought bulk dogfood and hot sauce, and that was all they ate.
yeah I'm sure that would save a lot of money but that sounds so disgusting
