Only thing I really dislike about using this site on mobile(I'm viewing it on desktop mode on Android) is that I can only thumbs up posts and not different reactions because I don't have a way to hover it, so everyone just gets a thumbs up, which for some of the more somber posts just feels off.

With that being said, must be a pretty dope site if my only complaint is I'm slightly limited on functionality and nothing to do with the content. Best part are the wildly different conversations that happen in this thread.

Just now participating in this thread. I've read a few back pages so far and I'm fairly confident that at least here my comments I post won't be marked against me for not posting in the right thread or section. I've been coming to this site since around 2023 I believe. I just happened to stumble across it. I never really interacted at all and was just here for the games. Once the site went down sometime last year I thought I lost something that I was just starting to get into. Then the great reset happened and what was once accessible was now only attainable through interaction directly through the site or out of pocket. Since I'm broke that left me with only the participation route to get my full membership that come to find out is not just a goal that I share on my own obviously from the comments and various threads that I've read from other people. My actual computer knowledge is limited compared to a lot of the people's comments on the various types of game formats. But I'm actually starting to get into interacting with the site more and not so much just for one goal (although we all know why the majority of us are here). Glad I checked this thread out and have a place to just throw some random shit out. My goal has gotten ever so close the last few weeks but I do believe that once I get my membership I can still see myself participating on the various forums.

Sadly, I've already been down to 7 degrees(f). And live in my own house, no apartment. I own my property. Can sometimes get pretty expensive. But since switching to Solar, I've been in good hands. The electric company was charging me and my family almost $1000 a month. Which is way more than we make per month. Even with us turning the power off to the majority of the house. Think they did that shit on purpose, though.

I feel you on that -- My furnace burns propane from a big tank out back. It gets expensive when it needs filling (3 times in the winter usually) but my closest neighbor is a quarter mile away and the isolation is well worth it.

Lol... Still need to be careful on what you say and still need to be within context of the conversation that you're replying to or within. Greetings are almost always an exception, so long as they introduce themselves or add more than just "hi".

Also, we've been sending users like yourself here so you folks would hopefully reach your goal faster rather than spamming throughout the site.

They really are great to have around the yard, though. I think ticks were already mentioned, but they also eat cockroaches, grubs, decaying plants and other nuisance kinds of things. May not be pretty, but I doubt you are, either (despite your cuddly looking php), and we keep you around.

I do have a question as a matter of fact. Once you get the 750 and get your membership does the LC start over or does it continue to build from there on? I actually asked this on another thread but I haven't seen a response. I'm sure it's written somewhere but I didn't really catch it and was just wondering how that worked.

You spend your LC to get your ranks. If you get exactly 750, then you'll have zero after your purchase. Then you start to earn again so you can get P1. You want P1 because that gets you the "VIP" tag and you will no longer have a cool down period for reactions. The cool down period for posts lifts after you get M+ (if I'm remembering the order correctly).
