anyone else lose LC coins, and have have notifications removed? I know I was in a thread talking yesterday and my reactions and coins are gone.

I'm missing about 1,000 coins. I was around 12,500 yesterday and I'm down to 11k now. Something happened.

Good to know. Good thing I only lost a couple of hundred LC coins. But it is a bit upsetting to try to aim for a goal and then get set back.

I think all the AI threads were deleted, and they decided to undo that option and instead just delete some of the AI instead of all of it
I believe the threads are currently inaccessible while the mods or admins go through the thread and delete some stuff
so essentially they went with the nuclear option, a lot of people complained, undid that and are now using the scalpel instead

I'm joining the new years sick crew too. I've been sick ever since I got back from this years family Christmas gathering. I suspect it's the various children in the family as the plague spreaders, I feel like every other time I see my nieces and nephews at some family event I come back with some new disease. On the mend currently, but still going to be sick for any new years celebrations.

Children are disease vectors -- the lot of them. When they are not plotting against ya - they are infecting you. Childproofing your house is not to protect kids - it's to protect you from them! It's best to just think of them as small zombies.

Yep, then after it was allowed and now governments are, as usually, overreacting to something harmless and it's gone again (hopefully not permanent - hopefully in the US the Supreme Court restates as long as it's not real people it's freedom of speech - but I wouldn't be TOO hopeful they do.)

"Speech" has been defined broadly to include that. AI isn't drawing, and last time they ruled on such it wasn't really a thing. On the other side is Australia, where a cartoon of Bart and Lisa Simpson fucking will get you jailed just the same as if you filmed a real life loli and shot of their imagined age (10 him 7 her) doing such. I guess nobody would try to argue the show has aired since 1989 so both have to be at least 35...
If anyone lives under a rock and doesn't know who they are, they don't look remotely like people.

Well then, whatever a previous appeals court will decide it. Of course they hopefully would go by the previous ruling - it's free speech if no real people are involved.
