That one is hilarious. We kinda have a equivalent in France. This thing is called Léguman ("légume" means "vegetable" in french), the series he was in was supposed to be for kids but kinda traumatized a whole generation, it was unwillingly pervert and creepy.



Pretty sure he was a bit pe*obear inspired too.

Well, I usually create a safety zone in the bathroom for my cats, as they hate fireworks, but otherwise it's a usual day pretty much, not much for big celebrations or parties.

Usually am with some family members in the evening/night.
We pitch in some money, for some good food, and cook it together, then get a little to drink maybe, watch some fireworks, or people start firing some off.
Then we just go until weøve had enough and go home/ go to sleep.
Seem boring when I write it out, but it's always a lot of fun.

There is two main sites to find some: giphy and tenor. There is a gif storage somewhere on here. And many of us also have their own collection of custom gif too yes.

I mean, it can take from like 10 to hours, depending on how perfect I want it.
But those two I had made a looong time ago.

I have a weather station in my yard with the screen in my room - bed and computer/desk in same room (weather station monitor on bureau.) Just takes a look, and fuck going outside if it's even close to this cold. Up to 15/feels like 8 now, which is still extremely cold for this early in Winter here.

So for most folks here it's just watch fireworks and chill? In the slavic part of the world usually christmas is something we acknowledge but rarely celebrate, unless in church or in a very religious family, but the 31th is when we party for real
usually family dinner, or dinner with friends, presents, then the fireworks, everybody has a minute of silence when they take time to take a wish, and then either drinking all night or going for walks (which i never understood given how cold it is)
what about the first half of january? just nothing, or do you also have some kind of celebration? we have that big thing on 14th jan where everyone visits their relatives, sharing how their year went over the dinner and such

My family used to do stuff on new years, especially when me and my siblings is still little. It's the usual things like, lighting up some fireworks, blowing trumpets, watch some countdown, etc. Recently though we haven't done anything, infact we often just sleep it off. Probably since me and my siblings are adults now and most of us have the "fuck off" attitude, we often just do our own thing. Some of us hanging out with friends while other like me is playing games or watching anime, the cool guy stuff . My family is often gathered on other holidays, not Christmas nor new years
