It's super expensive to buy used, but,

is the official site where you can get the book at a reasonable price from the author. And from what I'm seeing on the official site, it's not a terrible read.

LMFAO

Always knew google was a scam.

Hello Nobody, Mono, and Blood.

Seeing you're the only 3 I see on.

I was only joking, no way someone could have written a compelling book about it in such a short space of time!
But hey, I'm all for watching the downfall of Capitalism in real time.

Always knew google was a scam.

And Avast!

So true!

I was only joking, no way someone could have written a compelling book about it in such a short space of time!

The book was from back in 2010. and time to shit on communism real quick~ Last I checked there haven't been any countries that had to put up walls to keep people from escaping capitalism, communism though... I can list several~

Don't know, I'm a cheap fuck

[Flaming1]

Goin' pretty good, just listening to some podcasts while as I do the biggest backread ever that I know of, I could be wrong but I'm literally backreading until I hit the very first message in here, reacting to every single post as I do

That's good training for when you get P4 and backread the *big* thread.

Who was adovacating communism?
Bring me Anarchy!

But, for real, I don't know any people that have had to be walled in due to communism....
EDIT: And, thinking about it, what would the point be of putting up walls around Capitalism? Where would they escape to? MORE Capitalism?

I can list them for ya.

Germany
Berlin Wall (1961–1989)

North Korea
DMZ 1953-present
Northern Borders (China and Russia)

Soviet Union
Iron Curtain (1945–1989)

Hungary (1950s-1989)

To be fair, there was that whole issue with a wall in Berlin back in the day.

I'm probably going to need someone more intelligent to chime in here, but, personally, I'd describe all of those as Authoritarian State-Socialist. Certainly not Communism.
Though, I can't speak about Hungary. I don't know much about Hungary!

To be fair, there was that whole issue with a wall in Berlin back in the day.

Definitely! But not a Communist Wall, haha. That's the only point I was trying to consider.

[thatoneuser]

Yeah, don't see myself going away anytime soon, at least of my own accord.
Yupp we have a bunch of new fun people here.
Think it was me who told you one of the times, you were here, that we moved over here, so that you forgot, hurts me greatly! Nah!

Ehh, just come around when you feel like it thatoneuser, we'll probably be here still!

Yeah (I think atleast¿) that was you telling me that but then like a day later (I probably got there through an alert) I ended up posting some music to Animal and I put it there, I realised like a week later since I even posted in this one after you let me know.. I'm special like that.

I have poked in here after once in a while, good that there are new peeps that get cast under the LC Lurker spell. Our magic has not slowed down one bit it seems. Or it's because people like me are gone

As for the berlin wall, watch the videos. For North Korea, on paper, you are correct, however, in practice, they run it the way that a communist country would. And for the soviet union... Well... Look up the USSR this will also come in handy for the berlin wall

Okie dokie, I'll do that whilst you look up a definition of Communism! We'll reconvene for some good old fashioned sexy time

Fair enough

Isn't it : Attempted socialism taken over, run, and ruined by totalitarian dickheads?
I'm too sick and lazy to do proper research.
