We love history rants. Learning about history is always good fun.
Always great to be reminded just how little we have progressed from much much older times in terms of barbarism and cruelty in comparison to what we would want to believe we have.

Actually I often think back to those halcyon days when everyone did things for altruistic purposes -- We "remember" so many of these ancient things wrong - which is why we need to spend some time in libraries.

Got back from the eye Dr, but not seeing too good because of those fuckign drops. Had to see the regular one and the cataract one. Luckily no need to look at surgery yet. My mom had that a few years back and my grandmother (who died in 2012) about 25-30 years ago
