So one side has cats, raccoons, and banana.

The other has sleaze, coins, and cuddling bears.

Thats a tough choice

Although bananas already have nukes...

Would you settle for a cute chipmunk?

Be careful, i'm pretty sure he eats chipmunks too.

I know for a fact it wouldn't be the first time a nation looked at an animal and thought "hmmm... this is a cute animal... Let's strap a fucking explosive to it" The Soviets, Japanese and Germans during WWII with antitank dogs, the US almost using bats with incendiary charges strapped to them during WWII but scrapping the project after they accidently set their own shit on fire while testing, many countries using carrier pigeons even during WWII, Allied Forces during WWII using dead rats with explosive charges inside of their corpses with the intended goal of the Nazis seeing them and deciding to just toss them into a boiler, causing an explosion... Autistic war facts rant aside...

How's everyone's morning going?

Japan also used animals in biologic war, during WW2. The infamous unit 731 reportedly send plague-infected fleas on chinese soldiers and civilians, particularly during battle of Changde. Using animals in war is unfortunately nothing new.

(Yeah i'm also one to go on autistic based history rant from time to time).

Ah... unit 731... The unit that did so many evil things yet they never mention it in history class despite them being the reason that everyone knows the percentage of water in the human body... But in terms of insect based warfare, the Japanese weren't the only nation to weaponize insects. The Viet Cong would relocate honeybee colonies to trails used by US soldiers, then attach an explosive charge. When the VC saw a patrol pass by, they would set off the charge, causing chaos, pissed off bees, and disoriented troops that were easier to engage.

We love history rants. Learning about history is always good fun.
Always great to be reminded just how little we have progressed from much much older times in terms of barbarism and cruelty in comparison to what we would want to believe we have.

Our human tendency to adhere to an utilitarian mindset for many philosophical problems makes the concept of society much worse than it should be.

Also... obligatory "we live in a society" meme.

Good morning all - and once again Taco Tuesday rolls around raising the age old question once again - Hard or soft taco? Personally? I like to eat hard tacos -- but with a soft taco on the plate to catch the stuff that falls out - thus giving me an extra taco after I am finished with the hard ones, But I digress -- Good morning all!

More than just that, it's important to be taught that, while war isn't pretty, it's important to know that war should be avoided, until keeping peace means appeasing alligators

Humans are sinful at heart, that is true. However, living in society isn't always a contributing factor, but, living in a society that doesn't fear repercussions, does.

That's being said, it's a parody of famous 18th century french philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau words ("La nature a fait l'homme heureux et bon, mais […] la société le déprave et le rend misérable." : so roughtly translated in english "Humans are good and happy in nature, but society depraved them and make them miserable"): so the guy get some credit too, from his tomb.
