, a small indie movie on AI. 15 million dollar budget, no studio interference, well written, well acted, well directed, the topic is treated in an interesting way. Highly recommended if you're into Sci-Fi.
On the plus side you get to see quite a lot of Alicia Vikander skin.

Excellent point -- A pet peeve of mine is articles or papers that appear scholarly with footnotes and sources included> But (there is always a "but") upon a minimum amount of research one finds that their "sources" are hearsay or anecdotal - essentially they base their findings on the drunk guy's opinion at the end of the bar. This gets even more annoying when other papers site the first one - even further obscuring the lack of real data. Next thing you know politicians start spouting such nonsense as fact.

Yeah, some vegan food tastes terrible. i had some vegan burgers that tasted literally better than some burgers, but sadly, a lot can taste mot the best. It depend on the ingredient and how they cook vegan food. I am more than willing to help if people want simple recopies that tastes nice, but not bacon, and burgers? Tis is hit and miss sometimes. Problem is that tofu is used to replace the meat parts and some is not suit for this kind of cooking. It is hard to explain but this can be part reason for bad taste in some vegan food. Plus can taste dry at times, which is not nice, but I love some of the vegan food. It can be amazing when it have the flavors.

Most likely the "plastic" taste could be the tofu, and tofu is weird at times.

Tofu is great as Tofu, put in places where it can soak up sauce and get flavor. I know it's a problem for most people, but the idea that something has to taste like meat shouldn't be the selling point.

That's exactly what an AI would say to fool us into believing we're dealing with a real human.

Great concept and fairly terrifying movie overall. The ending l didn't like though, but a lot of indie flicks end up like that.
