Rome II was the peak of the franchise historical wise especially the mods.
Old games were good for their time but they didn't age well like Rome II.

Now, though, I must admit I am fully sold on Warhammer, rather than the Historics. I just love the world.

and how each race has different mechanics special to them! rather than the mainly historical reskins but otherwise play the same. tww2 is barely playeable so i have not even bothered attempting tww3 on my current
