Well guys, I've been on here back reading for a while, still loads to go to catch up.
Good to see the thread is as busy as it ever has been by the looks of it.
Problem I have is that I get easily distracted and end up in other threads, like OG, and then go and look for gifs to mess around with or do a bit of AI.
Next thing I know I'm being called for dinner and the evening is gone!
Will log on earlier tomorrow and see if I can be more sociable!

You could argue modern CDs are already "audiophile" quality, 44khz 16 bit is all you need to recreate the entire human hearing range. any more than that comes down to your listening equipment or the mastering on the track

I've never heard/seen any self-proclaimed audiophile say that any CD, modern or not, is good enough to "enjoy". You'd be the first if you are one.
