I was wondering about the new server plans, and thinking I'd like to not have what happened to me in the past happen again....which was, I came here back when this site was new, and had free and unlimited access, as a guest, to everything here, which at the time wasn't much, so I did my game downloading on another site I had been a more longtime and active member of, but then months later I showed up and there was a tier system, and then still more months later, the current system. The concern, for me, is the current system isn't so easy as it's 4 tiers and tens of thousands of points deep. I am, by definition, true to this threads name, generally a lurker that' been forced to participate more than I would normally, just to keep earning points...So, with all that in mind. should I trust the current setup and make a financial donation to help my progress and assist the site owner? Or should I wait until the site's been moved? Will that even matter? Will I be further locked out again once that change does happen based on my current status as a non-supporter, non-creator, somewhere middling between tier 1 and 2 consumer? I think I have enough points to gain tier two now, but I was just letting it all accumulate till I had tier 4 locked. But at this point, that will probably not happen before this site is moved. thoughts? strategies? Ideas?
