Backward compatibility seems mandatory nowadays. The backlash from not having it is too strong.
That's also one of many reason why console architecture is much closer to PC now. (and it's obviously easier to build, and also much easier to handle for devs)

About dates ... well we got march 31st 2025 as a deadline. Soon enough to me ! And we should have all main informations by then. Enough to decide if waiting is still an option.

Had to wait for interest time ! I'm having a 15-30 min delay each day. Now I'm collecting after backread is over.
Also waiting a few more days for P1 to be safe that I still get some interest even after buying it ! (but damn I need it, backreading is so hard without it !)
