Nope, the point isn't to convince the stupid, but those who have not decided yet on a determinate subject.
The stupid is a lost cause, I've seen it too many times already. Arguing with a flat earther is futile, you bring evidence to people who are considering those ideas.
In the case that gave birth to this discussion I would have just made my point to the other members, without addressing the other party, if that makes sense to you.

Disclaimer. I'm not implying that Sarya's counterpart is stupid in any way shape or form (maybe a little close-minded). It's just that the discussion now transcends that particular interaction.

This is the stoics answer, and it works very well for the individual.

The problem is that there's always the chance that someone that doesn't know better will read something. If the counter argument isn't presented, then there's a good chance that the single given opinion will be accepted.

If you get enraged by an opinion, you shouldn't be the one to provide the counter argument. If you're not, but you disagree with it and nobody else is providing the counter argument then there's great value in providing it.

It should be budgeted of course. If you spend all your time correcting incorrect information then you won't ever accomplish anything yourself.

it was re-written some time ago, but even the person who wrote is not 100% sure about the rule, because the old rule implied that everyone has an alt account, but using the alt to like your comments or any bullshit like that would give you a perma-ban (it happened before)
that's why that rule is under "credit farm" rules, it's like saying that creating a thread is prohibited because like-for-like threads are

now quick FAQ because I'm sick:
Do we approve the creation of obviously alt accounts?
- As some of you already know, all new accounts are manually checked and approved by us, and NO, we do not approve obviously alt accounts
Will my alt account be banned?
- Nope, we do not ban alt accounts, unless you're violating the rule "like posts or replies to farm credits", then it's a perma-ban
So what's the use of alt accounts?
- Usually active users, devs, and staff members use alt accounts to enjoy the site without the pressure that their main account may hold against them
That means that an alt account is probably useless for me, why make such rule?
- In most cases is, indeed, useless, but we need the rule to avoid having people liking their own comments with alt accounts to get M+, making the system pointless

Blueprints are very useful and help tremendously with big factories setup.
But that is the main complain about Satisfactory : blueprints are too small (at least without mods/glitches)
Once you get used to it, blueprints + hoverpack and you're really good to go !

Yeah, and it's easier to navigate a truly massive factory in Factorio. Not that I'm against the project of setting up sky bridges/trains all over the place.

Hopefully they fixed that glitch with some of the water pools switching to radioactive waste randomly. That was annoying. Huh, all my power went offline I wonder why that is. Oh, because these pumps floating in clear water are pumping radioactive waste now... time to deconstruct and reconstruct all of them so that they'll work properly... for a while.
