I've been attempting to, but have been doing it incorrectly apparently.

You're probably adding them to the quote list or whatever, bur not actually adding the quotes to the post.
Click on "INSERT QUOTES..." and the quoted posts will appear.

Here's a post with a short tutorial on quoting!

Let me try and help you out then.

You must be registered to see attachments

If you press "Reply", the post you're replying to will be inserted into the message box.

But if you press the "Quote" button, it will be stored, and you will be able to find it here.

You must be registered to see attachments

"Insert Quotes", when pressed this will popup.

You can rearrenge if you have multiple, by dragging the "button" with three lines.
When done, just press "Quote Messages" and they will be in the message box, ready for you to reply to!

Now, the next step is the "edit" button...

Sometimes the quotes did appear anyways, but I think it was due to my pressing "Reply" on their post, versus other times pressing quote, then using the Reply on the bottom of the page.

Big problem is when someone quotes like 40 different people in one post. Makes it hard to find shit.

Yeah, Reply is usually used to reply to a single post, Quote to reply to multiple posts at once.

You should maybe start quoting the posts, you're replying to.
Else it can get quite hard to figure out.
Plus you could get slapped by a mod.

think i seen Takeshis castle. It is old Japanese comedy if I remember correctly, and yes, from my memory it is very funny.

Yeah, it was more active back then, but what can you do, it's not like you can force people back again...
But you do you LetMeIn, I'm just giving my two cents.
