Hi guys,
A sad and angry Beaver reporting in for duty!
Had a bad day yesterday. Logged in here in the morning saying I was going out to trim some bushes (normally one of my favourite hobbies!) and didn't get back on here for the rest of the day!
I spent 6+ hours working out there and hurt my back in the process..

Didn't even feel like taking a shower afterwards. Stinky old Beaver!
Got into bed and stayed there until I was woken for dinner. We had an Indian delivered. A curry not..


..although I could probably still have managed to eat her!
After that I flopped into the armchair and fell asleep again. I was very disappointed when I woke up at 3.30am in the same spot!
Anyway, its pissing with rain today and the Beaver's back cannot take much action today so I have nothing better to do other than spend time on here.
Just as well as I have a shit load of ..

..to do.
I hope everyone else has a better start to the weekend than the poor old Beaver!
Hopefully by this evening I might be well enough to order another Indian (this time the one pictured and not the curry!)

The average american is uneducated compared to europeans. Many americans speak a kind of broken english and that's the only language they know (Trump is an extreme example of that). Thanks Slum. I don't think it helped going to see @Evil Surgeon this evening. Because I used his services earlier in the week for @jsmith666 's operation he gave me a good discount. Not sure his method worked very well though as I'm actually feeling worse after seeing him.
I should have known his physical therapy equipment belonged to @algeo!
He even made me return the trash can to the raccoon's alley afterwards!..

Tried out GTA V, runs at 40-60 fps on max settings. It should also handle Cyberpunk 2077, and basically any AAA title you might throw at it, albeit you might want to curb your enthusiasm a bit. You won't be running latest games on Ultra or anything, but they're definitely going to be playable.

Hazel Nut Latte is a great game if you like femboy milk in your coffee. Can recommend.

The only restrictions I've found is multiplayer games that use EAC software, which is Linux supported but they refuse to do it. However I basically only do single player games so I never have that issue. Have you tried Emustation on the ally yet, On the deck, it's one of the best things to use for setting up all your classic game needs. I know they've made a windows version now, which I've heard is good. Suprisingly one of the things that has stopped me from getting the Ally and other handhelds is the lack of the trackpad. I've gotten so used to that. it truly feels like a mouse.

As I said, I hope you truly enjoy it. With how popular the switch became after people said mobile gaming was only for phones now, it's great to see real devices. I love that with devices such as the ally or steam deck, whatever the MSI one is called, that we are entering an age where true gaming is mobile. You take a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and you have a real computer attached to a motel TV or something.

EAC is really impressive if your goal is to slow the loading time of the game by 3x.

Ah, and about this! When is the wormhole machine ready? We need it! Fun at any time no matter the place! I WANT IT!

My last job didn't involve customers. It was a community alternative to prison for parole violators. If one was enough of a dick they went to prison. Damn, I was telling Slum that I was done catching up on work, and dealing with that, but it snuck back up. I go to work on that for a few, and five pages of comments since! I'm pleased to share that I back-read and am caught up.

Fun coffee fact: the Japanese found a solution for this in the 1600s, coldbrew / koyoto style coffee. This type of coffee gets made by putting ground coffee beans in water, and leaving it for a day. After that you strain it and serve it over ice.
