Don't know how odd it is, but a sandwich with some sliced cheese and nutella, is not something you hear everyday.

I could see cream cheese and nutella, or maybe soft goat cheese, but probably not cheddar. A hard white cheese like manchego might work, too...

As for something some find odd, I like dunking double-stuff Oreos in Dr Pepper instead of milk. Milk is good, too, but Dr Pepper flavored filling is kind of nice - sort of like Bottle Caps candy but softer.
