My stepdad tried running one. Had a 6 player party, then covid hit and we just never got back to it. I miss my dwarven wizard, they had a fear of fire and thus couldn't use any fire spells.

Characters with bizarre quirks like that are so much fun. One of my favorites i played in a 5th edition one shot was a thief that had been kicked in the head and thought he was a priest of the god of stealing. Unless I said a small prayer before using any thief ability I had to roll with disadvantage.
