They're based on campaigns that were released for 1e, and draw more from that ruleset, but operate on slightly modified rules to function in a game setting.

I actually ran a Kingmaker campaign back it the day.

So, I played and beat Silent Hill 2 remake. Overall, I'm very happy with it! Sound design, ambience, and the way the fog looks are all done really well.

Spoiler: More about SH2

I did a blind playthrough, had my final save and was only able to get 2 of the 3 normal endings before NG+. About 14 hours for my first run, didn't get many of the missable achievements, but stumbled on a few. Going to follow a guide this time for cleanup on everything else, it will definitely be a 100% game for me.
