Spoiler: Thumbs Up. IMHO

I thought the voice acting was solid. At the start it felt a little stiff, but I also went in biased toward the original. I'm a huge fan of SH2&3, as I like them both more than the first, which I also love. I was very critical since the reveal, trying to find any faults I could with the game, to the point I didn't even pre-order.

I basically adopted a wait and see mentality, but as the release got closer, I realized it may be hard to find a copy or get it day 1 as a physical copy. Along with the praise from word of mouth, and the positive reviews. I got it discounted from a certified key seller aka wingamestore instead. Almost all of my worries and critiques vanished within 2 hours of playing, and the faults I tried to find were minimal at best. It's definitely not perfect, and I was mostly adopting an attitude of enjoying it as long as it doesn't suck. So, my low expectations elevated my opinion of the end product. I did have 1 crash on PC, but it was also possibly my fault. I also had a short FPS dip after the apartments, but it only last a few seconds and never happened again.

Fans of the original should be pleased, I was, but I can't speak everyone. Some people find things they love sacred and flip out when they feel slighted. I'm like this when it comes to adaptions of books I like, so it's also perfectly understandable to be annoyed or angry when things fall short of expectations. I just never like seeing the extent that people or fanatics take things, like harassing actors or creators. I kind of despise those types of so-called fans.

i am hoping spaceballs 2 will never happen. great things do not need sequels and franchises, but of course considering how much they sell (just look at star wars) combined with how many peopel love one thing and think more of the same is good or will sate it. when alot of things would do so much better if standing on their own without needles extending. but hey i guess i should be glad it is not a spaceballs "modern" re-imagening.

I agree. It seems like Hollywood is incapable of an original idea and instead just has to flood us with sequels, most of which are terrible and try to be original by making superficial changes to the main characters, or by trying to "deconstruct" the heroes of the past, and try to install new heroes they think they can market. But it's all garbage.

Since we're on the topic of movies and how much you "love" some of the things they are making. You seen the trailer for this lego movie about rappers and how they made their hit songs yet?
