I think Brooks is a master of the genre , But what I find mystifying is that he was married to

I know right! how he could stoop to marrying her is mindboggling

[Hexborn_Magus]

Have you played either of the pathfinder games from owlcat dev studio? i am curious if it is based on 1e or 2e

They're based on campaigns that were released for 1e, and draw more from that ruleset, but operate on slightly modified rules to function in a game setting.

So, I played and beat Silent Hill 2 remake. Overall, I'm very happy with it! Sound design, ambience, and the way the fog looks are all done really well.

Spoiler: More about SH2

I did a blind playthrough, had my final save and was only able to get 2 of the 3 normal endings before NG+. About 14 hours for my first run, didn't get many of the missable achievements, but stumbled on a few. Going to follow a guide this time for cleanup on everything else, it will definitely be a 100% game for me.

Its that time again friends,
There seems to have been quite a lot of activity on here tonight that I will enjoy reading in the morning.
I seem to share a similar time zone to @Slumdum so a lot of our daytime hours its fairly quiet on here. Then it suddenly comes alive when its our bedtime!
No wonder slum is the back reading veteran. I will probably become his #2 at some point as we both have a lot to catch up on in the mornings
Anyway, yes you've guessed it, its time for me to hit the sack again!
Goodnight all, have a great evening and look forward to see what madness awaits me tomorrow!

I'm outta here!

Ehh, just means I have a little backreading, when I get up, plus this is nothing compared to the early days of backreading.

Night Beaver, see you later, and sleep well!

Spoiler: LghtDuck

I see that I have made a mistake by engaging in conversation, my apologies. I'll be on my way (?)

Ahhh, look at him, thinking he gets to run away from Conzi.

[DubbleU]

Ohh! How about the new voice actors do they do a good job?

Spoiler: Thumbs Up. IMHO

I thought the voice acting was solid. At the start it felt a little stiff, but I also went in biased toward the original. I'm a huge fan of SH2&3, as I like them both more than the first, which I also love. I was very critical since the reveal, trying to find any faults I could with the game, to the point I didn't even pre-order.

I basically adopted a wait and see mentality, but as the release got closer, I realized it may be hard to find a copy or get it day 1 as a physical copy. Along with the praise from word of mouth, and the positive reviews. I got it discounted from a certified key seller aka wingamestore instead. Almost all of my worries and critiques vanished within 2 hours of playing, and the faults I tried to find were minimal at best. It's definitely not perfect, and I was mostly adopting an attitude of enjoying it as long as it doesn't suck. So, my low expectations elevated my opinion of the end product. I did have 1 crash on PC, but it was also possibly my fault. I also had a short FPS dip after the apartments, but it only last a few seconds and never happened again.

Fans of the original should be pleased, I was, but I can't speak everyone. Some people find things they love sacred and flip out when they feel slighted. I'm like this when it comes to adaptions of books I like, so it's also perfectly understandable to be annoyed or angry when things fall short of expectations. I just never like seeing the extent that people or fanatics take things, like harassing actors or creators. I kind of despise those types of so-called fans.
