Thinking either rewatching The Boys

I love that show - been binge watching though it again - I like the "grittier " side of superheros Especially like "The Deep" and his hunnybunny octopi. Not so much a "Gen V" fan though

Is it hard to start on pathfinder? I always wanted to try a sci-fi setting, but was unable to find one that I really liked.

I ran a Mass Effect campaign that I found online last year. It had the 5e rules with some adjustments, so that was easy to follow, but I wanted to try other ones.

Starfinder is what I think you mean, which is the Sci-Fi version rules for Pathfinder.

There's also two editions of Starfinder, as Pathfinder has both a 1e and a 2e version that are very different games.

It's tough for me to say. Pathfinder is a modification of a D&D 3e. When 3e first came out it seemed like a smart and overwhelming simplification of the 2e ruleset, but if you're going backwards from 5e its probably going to seem extremely confusing and unnecessarily complicated.

That is the extent of my knowledge of Starfinder. I considered using it once for a campaign, but even though I really enjoy pathfinder, starfinder just didn't click for me when I read through the game.
