There was a game I supported for about a year that had a Tech Update that progressed 15% in the year and so I cancelled. And two years later I think it "released" but like with less content or something. Considering the estimated monthly on Patreon was more than I make at my job it seems like it should have been more of a priority to complete. IMHO.

I have heard this as well. Thankfull no personal experience.

I've backed a few and all worked out, but I did know a bit about the team doing the game before I backed it.
Now, don't ask me about Axanar....

I will need to look into that. I like Supreme Commander, and its predecessors. I got to meat Chris Taylor at an E3 many years ago. I was looking at a RTS in another company's booth, and it kinda sucked, and he was looking at it too, and we started chatting about how clunky thing looked and he said "Want to see a really cool RTS?" and took me next door to see Total Annihilation.

All depends what you're into, and what you consider a good story to be. I don't know that you're going to find anything overly deep, but several games I can think of go beyond simple "I gotta get every girl to fuck me."
Harem Hotel has possibly the most non sexual content for a sex-heavy game I've played.
Ravenous is interesting, fairly unique,
There's a similar one I can't think of the name about a guy investigating the murder of his ex-girlfriend.

I forget which number I was, but I was one of the first 5 members with P4. I burned all of my coins buying it (I received just over 1,000 coins from someone else, so I could buy during a sale).

The following weekend when the next sale was, I had enough coins to buy it. If you're active and popular* on here. You can get it from straight posting in about a week.
