O yeah. Big Bang Theory. This is a good show. I think they stopped making it these days? The repeats are fun. I never liked 3rd Rock from the Sun. I seen maybe couple times but never was interested. So you still watch these programs or is there different ones these days?

Yeah Big Bang Theory ended a couple years ago, it had a spin off that just ended this year I think. I never really got into that show I hate laugh tracks, if something is funny I will laugh I don't need a track to tell me a joke was just said. And yeah I know it was filmed in front of a live studio audience not a recorded track it still was way overused in my opinion. It also makes the actors have to leave extended pauses in conversations to allow space for the laughs/cheers, which results in strange delays during conversations.

A good show it's over now but it told the story completely was Kevin Can F**K Himself.

Kevin Can Fk Himself follows the story of Allison McRoberts (Murphy), a woman we all grew up believing we knew: the prototypical Sitcom Wife. She's beautiful and can take a joke (though she's usually the butt of them). And she's married to a guy who must've won some sort of marriage lottery, because she looks the way she does and he's... funny. But what happens when we follow Allison out of her husband's domain? When she finally wakes up to (and revolts against) the injustices in her life? Kevin Can FK Himself breaks television convention and blends multi-camera comedy with single-camera realism to make us ask, "who and what have we been laughing at all of these years?

Schitt's Creek is another good one if you haven't seen that one yet! Although that is also over already

I think the only non animated comedy show that's still ongoing that I can think of that I watch is Hacks. It's about an old stand up comic who is partnered up a young writer to help her come up with new material cause she was about to get kicked out of the casino for a new headliner.

I'm watching an older canadian show right now Corner Gas. It's kind of like a slice of life show, set in a small rural town.

Train to Busan is a favorite atm. Personally I'm not into it, but I'm not going to stop them from enjoying it.

I wasn't a huge fan of Train to Busan, I thought it was way overhyped to me it was just an average zombie flick. But like you said as long as others enjoy it good for them!​

I belong to the school of thought that people who don't want to be in a relationship are an affect of a dysfunctional society. Social creatures such as us shouldn't want to be loners.
That said, I don't mean nuclear 'approved by christians(tm)' relationship. I just mean any relationship at all where two or more people are committed and intimate with each other in a way that is closer than friendship.
A mismatch in sexual needs inside of a relationship can be solved in many ways. We shouldn't live in a society where prostitutes are needed because of that.
I don't like that we approach this from the perspective of "people need fuck, so we need people who give them fuck". Systems of thought like that will lead to finding ways to create a supply of workforce. My very clear example if the American Military. To make sure they have a steady supply of grunts, they recruit among college-aged students who are either already in debt from studies, or want to study without debt. So, obviously, the military is very much against lowering tuition costs fro college, and against student loan forgiveness. Currently, sex work works mostly on a similar paradigm. The sex work industry needs new young fresh bodies to sell to sleazes, and if these fresh young bodies don't desperately need the money, they aren't going to want to do the sex work (usually), so it is useful that these people are poor and in debt, because they can more easily be coerced into selling themselves.

What is lost in the sauce here is that I am not against sex work of any kind. I am just very cognizant of the fact that we currently live in a very socioeconomically fucked up society, and that puts a lot of people in a position where prostitution isn't a choice, but rather a survival strategy or a form of slavery.
If the world was more equal and people only went into prostitution because they actually wanted to, instead of because it was either sucking off strangers or starve, then we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Brothels are not a solution, and they almost always lead to trafficking to some extent because the highest cost of running a brothel is the prostitutes (just like in any business), so to cut costs they bring in 'cheaper workforce'. After all, you don't run brothels to keep prostitutes happy, you run them to make money.
I get disgusted when people talk about prostitutes being a societal need, because it makes it out that some people (primarily women) must be coerced into prostitution if there aren't enough willing people (and, trust me, there aren't enough willing people) because otherwise society is somehow worse off. It is also approaching the issue from the wrong end. Instead of thinking "people aren't happy and fucking keeps them sane", instead think "why aren't people happy, and how can we address that?". Working plumbing is a sociatal need, because otherwise we'd die from disease. Access to education and healthcare is a societal need so we can learn and self-actualize before we die prematurely from a spicy little virus or bacteria, or from our own terrible physiology. Agriculture is a societal need, because without large-scale food production people in society would starve and die. Access to sex whenever you feel like it isn't a societal need, that's decadence because it places the need of yourself above the need of someone else.

In other news, slept four hours before waking up with the dyspepsia stomach pain from hell, basically curling up in fetus position and praying to lolideus until my meds started to work again.
