well, this I don't know about Taiwan movies. I never seen any yet, but so far I am aware, their script writing and movie making skills are very different to other Asian countries and nothing like Japanese, so, for me, if it is other foreign countries, I don't know. Only English ones mostly and of course Japanese. However, some Korean movies show some decent comedy. You will notice the actual humor style is very different. I believe if Japan make a "American Pie" style it wont work so well because our humor is different, but still I can find a lot of funny USA movies like the Jacky Chan ones. They are comedy movies, and also "The Pink Panther." I know I called USA comedy dry, but I been remembering a lot that are not dry. Maybe childish and dumb like Jim Kerry movies, but I like this kind because it is stupid and just fun. Jerry Sinelfild made some 1990's comedy with huis fellow actors and I found this to be maybe more dry? but it was fun. The 5th Planet from the sun (I forget the exact title) with Sheldon the science geek and the others. This seems to me to be dry style but I used to like it once. I do like USA, UK, Canada comedy but sometimes hard to understand the humor lol. How is Brazil comedy? Is it very different?
100% In fact, in my country no one like those insult humor. we like all the others if we can understand the culture, but iven we don't always we can laugh at the funny side. Like those comedy movies with Jim Kerry, Adam Sandler and so on. Very stupid at times but nice to watch when I just want to see this kind, but insults. No thanks. and stay away from the family insult humor. It is just terrible and no Asia country people will accept, even for jokes.
O ok, this is interesting, so do all days of the week have similar style with one word for Friday (am to afternoon) then afternoon once work finish put a slightly different part to the word? I think maybe Spanish have something like this but I forgot. Unless Portuguese is completely different structure to Spanish.
