Yeah, would have been nice, it's almost 130€ here...

The PS5 Disc Drive is 100 here, and $960 CAD for the Pro, so with tax at 13% HST. I'm basically saddled with a 1200 purchase, not including shipping if I go that route. Feels like a skip, I haven't played my PS5 since Stellar Blade first came out, and mostly play on PC, anyways. I do really want one, just because, but the fact that they chose to release without the included Disc Drive is less enticing.
