My Subway went crazy as well, used to have 5 near me now it's down to one, Jersey Mike's is driving them out.

Here there's still plenty, but all of them are empty. Some years ago I knew a lot of people who ate there, but nowadays I don't know anyone.
And the franchise representative here in Brazil said it was because "the sandwich didn't fall into the popular taste", but it's bullshit. It was popular, but they killed it.

Subway in Brazil was in process of bankruptcy, just like Starbucks. Or something similar to that.

Subway was good before, you could get something interesting for a cheap price, not anymore.

When you discover other fast food chains it gets harder to choose unless you can afford the good stuff

I don't think isn't just because of inflation. Before it was one of the cheapest fast foods, now for the price of a footlong you can almost get two Whopper combos with free refil on the Burger King app. It isn't worth it.

They would say that you would go for Subway if you want a fast food, but somewhat healty, because of the vegetables. But honestly, its too salt, everything, and now they are expansive.

Really? Its been a while since I had Subway, but I don't deny, they wre following this path.

If I have options, I prefer some dinner on plate anyway, it is more fullfilling and even cheaper.

There is always the greed for more money for stakeholders, even when you have less costumers. Other fast foods had increases in their prices, but Subways prices were increasing on another level!

You think that's inflation? Here we had a time in which the prices in the supermarket were changed during the day. Everyone was fearing the worker that changed prices with the price tagger. You had to get the item before he changed the price!
