I've come to realize one of the reasons I am far less active on here is that I like to stir shit up and I like to rage, and there has been far less opportunity for that since the AI purge. So, I am going to post things I hate, and see if that starts making things more interesting for me.

What do you drink on? How many teams?
We used to play the most savage drinking games.
Always started the Presidents and Asshole (a card-based drinking game with different rules depending on house/people involved)
Also a game we called Moose, where we bounced coins to an ice tray on a cup full of booze. Different levels of the ice tray would be drinks, if someone made it into the cup, everyone had to do moose horns with their hands, last person to Moose had to drink the cup. Usually a super strong mixed drink.
And Roxanne. Play the Police song Roxanne. One team would drink on the word Roxanne, the other team drinks on red light. Surprised no one died from alcohol poisoning

You're right, it doesn't recover costs entirely.
But, if they were to write this off as a worthless investment, they get a deduction. It’s like a business venture that fails.
That, along with the insurance plan that every movie gets, you recoup more money than if it fails in theaters.
If you cancel production before it's done, you also don't have to pay for marketing. More money saved.
I still think they should have streamed it to at least make some money, they'd still have to pay to finish it with all the edits and SFX.
So, they didn't make money, but they lost less than if they released it.
Also, imagine in a few years, they hire on a big name director to finish the movie? Justice League all over again.

I checked the lyrics, that's 17 drinks on just the outro .
I think my point stands though that regardless of how Hollywood accounting can recoup losses, playing catchup is not where the money guys want to be. And I think there's going to be some shakeups in the upper echelons after this year.

So I was never drink master because I want to have fun and drink, not be the DD. Huh weird I swear we just pulled the one from the tvtropes page but I don't see it now. It was kind of similar to this list

1. Someone says “Booty Sweat”, “Tropic Thunder”, or “Jellybeans”
2. Explosions (fiery ones)
3. There’s a camera on-screen
4. Clip from Simple Jack or the play version in camp
5. Tivo is mentioned
6. Any time an award or award show is mentioned

I can't remember one rule was for a shot one was no matter how full you had to finish your drink.

Never played the Rosanne song, we always played Thunder where you're in a group and someone has to chug their drink until thunder is said then it moves to the next person

Never heard of Moose, the absolute worse game I've ever played it Ride the Bus, way to long to explain the rules, but it's all guesswork unless you can count cards and the amount of drinks get progressively higher as the game continues.
