I love chess with all my heart, one day a friend called me saying "ma man, there's this new game called TFT, is just like chess, you need to try it". I got from never playing anything like that to Platinum 1 in 5 days, but that's not even close to chess. After that I got even more hooked in online chess, but LC devours literally every second of my 'free time'

I used to love chess only way to pass time back in high school between class periods.
Also good way to earn free lunch between classmates haha.

I once entered a Chess tournament as a kid, but the only strategy I knew was the Fool's Gambit. I beat the first kid in 4 moves, but the second was on to me and I lost to him.

Just just the Bongcloud that is even beloved by GM Magnus Carlsen and GM Hikaru Nakamura.

Have you ever tried the app really bad chess? The gist of it is the better you do the worse pieces you start out with in the next game or your opponent has better than normal pieces

I ran blackjack back in the day at school, made a pretty penny

We had poker with the lab technician when there after class hours.
Computer lab was a poker room and we only had small bets only worth one Mcdo meal around that time.
Damn gambling was a good way to spend time back then.
