I have no idea how the pigs stayed around as long as they did, made backreading scary.

Doing good. Had a game of dnd today. Space horror themed. Was good stuff. Group exploring a failed colony ship. Got damaged and ai started using the cryo-sleep crew and genetics lab to grow replacement parts. Half the ship is human bone now. Maintainaince robots half covered in flesh to hold them together. Good stuff. Lost half the npcs exploring with them already.

Jealous, my group hasn't picked up a game in months.

I enjoy the civic which allows you to make some slaves into pleasure slaves or somesuch so if there are no jobs they always have one that will make the happiness on the world increase! been awhile since i last played stellaris. and are you going to go through the entirety of alfie chapter pic by pic now?

Yah we just got back to in person games after going online for covid. New campaign just started few weeks ago. They only been on the freighter for like 1 hour. Only made it up 1 floor from hanger and already lost about half the soldiers they brought to guard them lol. I set up an encounter where they were obviously supposed to run. But they used the npc soldiers to hold the line as they picked off the horde of undead/robot constructs. They were standing in a freight elevator. They could have just closed the damn door and left instead of fighting 30 cr 2s at level 4. Hence why they lost most their 20 soldiers that ment to help get them to their goal/guard their way back out.

the first companion thread started because technically the Lurkers' thread is not supposed to have many images and a lot of users liked to just drop an AI image, show their friends, you know? the usual. But we received orders to delete images without context to the convo or posts with only images here, so one of the mods had the brilliant idea to create an images-only companion thread (shoutout to my homie Beo), so instead of deleting we started just moving the images there, after some time an M+ version of the thread was necessary too.
Sorry if I'm sounding incoherent, I'm exhausted and still multitasking, typing is getting hard here

Yah I think they got cocky because they had 4 units of marines with them. So they could scout and do science. But I also don't think they realize npcs don't full heal overnight like heroes. I think after they hole up and take a rest and realize those npcs are not getting back up to fight and now have to be abandoned or protected. That they will start being more cautious. To their credit the healer player spent every round stabilizing the downed npcs to minimize actual deaths.
