Problem is shorter games for higher price.

Could be worst...."AAAA" games for over a 100 USD which is buggy as hell and is at best 4-5/10 haha

You guys do know that there are sites like this one but for normie games right?
So you don't have to pay any monies

Maybe they only pirate AVNs since they don't want traces of it in their gaming accounts haha

But you're missing out on the 3 days early access to be a beta tester if you don't get the super ultra deluxe edition

Never really buy games generally unless they are on sale.
Most games is just get a pirate version and maybe in a few years when it is on a big sale and I want to replay it I buy it.

Honestly one of the biggest problems is they are trying to wow you with graphics instead of content.

Sooo many cut scenes feel like I'm watching a movie instead of playing a game in some of them

If you offer me a game, I'll pay you one time for it.

It's nice that you have principals like that (no sarcasm). I myself subscribe to a different philosophy

That's the way capitalism work. Only thing they understand is greed and money. So they chain produce massive number of goods and service with almost no innovation, of bad quality that they sell at a high prize.

One of the benefits of being older is from childhood I was used to playing a single game for months, now when I purchase a game, I look to see if it's something I will play for months. I have a philosophy that I want at least $1 per hour invested in a game. So that shiny new star wars game better give me 60 hours of entertainment...as I know it won't, it can wait for a sale to a point that I will get my moneys worth. For example Icarus I bought on sale earlier this year, then I bought all the expansions because at a $100 price point, but I've put over 300 hours in it, the entertainment value has been worth it.

If I was to buy the new Call of Duty, if there even is a campaign anymore, it would be over in max 20 hours normally, and I don't play anything besides coop now, that I "lose" money.

Honestly one of the biggest problems is they are trying to wow you with graphics instead of content. The original call of duty in 2003 had three separate campaigns with a good story for each. Now you get a half assed campaign that tries to funnel you to multiplayer where they will try to bleed you dry with microtransactions THAT AREN'T MICRO AT ALL NOW.

I think I could convince myself to pay $70 for a game if it also wasn't going to shove micro transactions in my face every 30seconds. You can't forget about the monthly battle pass with limited skins so you get that premium FOMO

Also new releases for games have terrible performance 9/10 times now

At some point they figured out that it was worth way more to try to attract whales that will pay tens of thousands of dollars a month for microtransactions than to worry about what the vast majority of players who maybe will spend $20 a month and usually $0 per month think. They just need some regular players to be cannon fodder for the whales so they keep the entry price low-ish.

Yes I know, but I like to support indie game developers that actually try. I will support completed or near completed adult games. I don't support greedy fucks on either side. If you offer me a game, I'll pay you one time for it. Adult or not.

I feel the same way, I'll even pay once for the early access but I'm not devoting $30+ a year on a game that gets only gets a worthwhile amount of content update once or twice a year.

That's the way capitalism work. Only thing they understand is greed and money. So they chain produce massive number of goods and service with almost no innovation, of bad quality that they sell at a high prize.

You only have lack of innovation when markets are captured, in the games industry case prior to Steam and digital distribution becoming mainstream it was prohibitively expensive to distribute games (especially for consoles) so it was under the de facto control of publishers. We're seeing plenty of innovation now, it's just in indie games and not "AAA." Like Factorio spawned a whole genre of factory games that are almost all low cost to make and <$30 sticker price, and since there's not the upfront overhead of having to print disks, package them and set up retailer contracts these games can just get whatever cut of actual sales they get, there's a lot less upfront risk.

Hey Slumster how are things? Is the hunt going well?

I know I'm late to this party because it was posted in February, but I just read about Corrupted Kingdoms getting kicked off Patreon because child characters exist in the game, despite not being part of the lewd scenes at all. I don't understand why anyone uses that site, it's always "Use Patreon, Patreon screws you over, bitch about this sudden but inevitable betrayal."

[WLMS]

Yes, you told it to me but Uncle Satan.. Luis Eifer De Ville, husband of Cruella De Ville (read carefully and see the actual meaning haha) they told me they don't know you

Whatever, I didn't planned to get my soul back anyway, I wasn't using it that much.

I'm even later than you since you just told me. That so dumb, like you said the kids had nothing to do with the adult parts of the game and the scenes you did have with them and their moms where so fucking wholesome it almost made you forget that you maybe totally mind broke and erased the personality of a couple characters

my guess is for the same reason people use youtube and such, it is one of the biggest giving you a chance of higher audience

Ugh, this week sucked, busy every day and no real time to chill at places like this one. But free for the weekend now!

Yeah, that was incredibly stupid news. What next, they start banning harvest moon/stardew valley type games because you can date and marry someone, but kids exist in the game?
