Doesn't restarting your router impact your connection speed. I'm pretty sure I remember reading somewhere that cycling the power on a router makes the router behave as though there is a fault with the connection and so slows the connection for a time only gradually restoring the speed as time passes with no further fault/interrupts. It's also the reason why they say you shouldn't turn off your router at night.

It's not that I'm restarting my router as if there were no tomorrow. Just when I need to surpass some IP blocking or for the safety to have a new IP and not to be browsing always with the same IP, once a week or so. Regarding the speed, I'm not a streamer or a (non-fap) gamer, so I have not noticed any negative impact.

It's really not that difficult to earn 1, 2, 3 or 4k from spending time here. You get here during the busy hours.. you'll see a lot of action. But mainly, the glorious and unsung heroes of LC, the backreaders.. will read your replies and give you much needed love when you've been long gone for the day.

When are busy hours? I mean there is people from all over the world here i guess. So we may be here at all different time, as some of us need to sleep (i'm a catgirl, so i nap a lot actually).

Some sites block range of IPs, so even if the IP changes a bit, it's usually close enough for them to see its probably the same network.

I use a paid one (BitDefender) though I'm considering switching to NordVPN when the renewal is due.

Besides reseting download limits, what more a VPN does? I never really needed one, so I don't know if it would be very useful for me.

They can help you get around content access restrictions. Like things that are restricted to view only from inside a particular country or your home country maybe restricts access to certain things, you can use a VPN to mask which country you are accessing the internet from. By masking your IP I believe it can also help protect you from viruses and malware, though don't quote me on that. I sure there are other benefits but you would have to do your research.

In all seriousness though. for me.. I find it's the busiest around 5-9am my time. Usually I'm not even on.. cause my old ass is trying to get some beauty sleep.

Yeah, that's one of the hardest things, having to deal with the react timer. But, once you get to P1 or whatever you're shooting for.. then you can react all willy nilly. Well, react within reason. We still do have some rules around here.

You don't need to be on here for hours to earn that. I avg between 1500 to 1700 a day. got over 2000 a couple times. All you have to do it comment on peoples posts, be funny and don't spam. Once your here long enough people here you start to react more to your posts.

Busy hours kinda shift around. Usually a few of hours from now the least active period starts though.
