My family still makes "Ambrosia" It's a Jello with tapioca, marshmallows and sour cream. Sometimes fruit. Whipped cream on top.

"Ambrosia" is a thing here on Brazil, too. But is nothing like that versions. Hahaha
Is like a dulce de leche, but all curdleo up, like ricotta. Not my favorite dessert, but I like it.

Interesting! I've had chocolate sauces like that, and they're great. Soft serve is common here, and they do a mixed up version with whatever you want in it. I tend to do vanilla soft serve with bits of cookie dough and pecans in it

In ours ice cream parlors, you serve the ice cream yourselft, and you can put a lot of different toppings on it, like marshmallows, M&M's, jelly beans, fruits and more. Like this:

I also got mine all on the discounts and it was so fast, but then I am sometimes too much on here for chat. I was not focus those day on LC coin, just to meet new and interest people. I consider my english pretty good, and it's all by consuming things in english (localized games is kinda new here, when I was a kid I could only play english or japanese games) and interacting with others on the internet.
But on the downside, it's just my written english. My spoken english is shit. I don't know how to pronnounce anything right, and also don't really understand others just by listening, unless they talk slowly...

I'm actually looking for to Robert Eggers Nosferatu movie coming out this year, mostly because I saw Willem Dafoe in it.

Still enjoy watching the silent movie once in a while.

I want to see that and most likely will. But I'm kinda getting tired of Bill Skarsgard. He was ok as pennywise and I say ok because I grew up with Tim Curry as pennywise and that is who I will always see as pennywise. He is also doing that remake of the crow which looks like trash.

Saw both versions, liked the Swedish one better.

I also preferred the swedish version. I didn't realize there was a new nosforatu movie coming out that should be interesting.

The good thing about the Silent one is it's so old you can just watch it on youtube (just use an adblock so no ads.). The new one releases on Christmas this year.

If your talking about the toolbar at the top of the screen, I'm on Firefox and it works.

No all the regular navigation stuff was working fine - it was the message bar commands:

And guess what? It just started to fucking work! It didn't work when I started this - I hit that "Smilies" and they didn't pop up - that was what was happening with all the buttons - the button title might come up like that, but the command wouldn't execute. I took the screen shot, my reply start disappeared, so I hit "reply" again, and then, for grins, hit the "picture" to see if the download box would work before dragging the edited screenshot in.

Some days this site just drives me bonkers!

Yup. Same to me. I even learned most my English talk and writing from when I was stay in other country that talk English but it is very hard. Plus, here is one of the problem. You have USA English talk and writing, then Australia, UK and so on, so.. the two largest writing is USA and UK, so, I learned UK English and this is problem for grammar because USA spell many things very different. I can understand some things, even after about 10 year to learn what i can, but my talk is meh??/ ok.. so so but I still cant write and for me, on forum of English it is just very hard. I understand only few things so, i just mostly cant always join in because I don't understand, but actually, it is still ok. if people visit my country and are from USA or English country then we talk slow. Yes, to pronounce is too hard sometime. To be honest, even my translate program don't understand so much lol, so, just take some time to learn. Learn foreign language is a very long process. Most/all people who try learn Japan4ese get very confuse, especially to our writing style. 3 different styles and it is hard for them to even begin. always use spell check because I can't spell much at all but I like to chat in west place so its fine. Just will learn.

i was just about to ask you if you ever seen Nosferatu. I hear it was the first vampire movie ever make in 1897. Apparently, in those days, it was consider too scary to watch by some people. I will like to see this new one and I also like William Dafoe. He is really good actor. It will be good to see the original, then compare how things changed so much in movie making world. Sign me up to see the movie when it is available.

I got to see a theatrical showing of Nosferatu a couple years ago with a live organist doing the music, it was great, but then I like old cinema, so I'm a bit biased.
