I never had an Smart TV and probably never will, because I also plug my computer there and that's all I need. In fact, I spent literal years without even having a monitor, using just TV. I didn't even had a chair, I used the computer from my bed. Hahaha

Good morning! In a bit I'll be off to sleep. :sleep:
yeah me too. I never had smart TV. Maybe one day I will get when i can save up, but there is too much trash on tv these days and so many advert so I usually watch movie on my pc and I dont need a smart TV just for watch the programs. Probably I will also get a huge pc monitor but thats long way away. Just one of my list when I can afford lol.
Maybe you can buy a chair next f you didn't already get one. :)

He even inspired a movie (though I must admit I've never had a problem clearing such an impediment).

My other question was HAS the word "mutant" been used outside of comic books, predate comic books? Did some author come up with the word first?
Even if this question is mostly a joke, surprisingly in the context of sci-fi the answer according the Online Etymology Dictionary is NO.

1900 in the biological sense, "individual or form which has arisen by or undergone (genetic) mutation," from Latin mutantem (nominative mutans) "changing," present participle of mutare "to change" (from PIE root (1) "to change, go, move"). In the science fiction sense, it is attested by 1954. As an adjective from 1903.

And we know for sure Marvel has used it in 1951!!! (I noticed the cover date is March, 1952, but the release date November 19, 1951).

As normal word it predates even the English as it was origin in Latin :P But formally, if we can still trust that dictionary, 1903.

Here I am again... slightly sunburned and with some sore muscles, but aliiiive :D

I'm glad my imagination fits with his imagination/reality! 💗💚
@Flaming1 just knows how to put me into Art that fits me well xP

Hello, how are you this Friday?
Looking forward to the weekend

This could still be down to his kitchen hygiene... Have you seen what these crazy Swedes eat?!
Yeah, it might have something to do with this... :ROFLMAO:

The artstyle wasn't my favorite (ai'd prefer the actual Sonic style), but the content and progression were really hot in my opinion. Still waiting for the continuation. 😭
It was cute for what it was- and Cream was adorable. 😍 I don't know if there's going to be anymore- kinda like that one decent MLP game (can't think of the name), but I think they're both done. Sadly.
I've finally ascended. Now watch as I use this newfound power to... well, probably not much different than usual.
Congrats! Enjoy your journey down the rabbit hole. 🥳

Tru 'dat ;-p However, hot dogs are generally grilled or boiled or something first, not eaten cold even though pre-cooked. I've heard tell of weary workers who'd eat potted meat on a cracked at room temperature. Foie gras, it ain't! But still, everyone should be able to eat as he likes in peace so I'm not laying in :)
I still eat hotdogs right outta the package- just like when I was little. :ROFLMAO:
This is amazing.😂

Best reading of the Raven for me is by Christopher Lee. ❤
THIS. WAS. EPIC. Thank you. I had not heard that before. Christopher Lee was a bloody legend! 😍
I wonder if he did "The Tell-Tale Heart" too?
Hey guys how is everyone doing
Hey Dover! 😍 What's going on? Are you coming back? Come to regale us with more of your exploits? :p
I tried Google, Wiki, not much luck.

From Quora (take it how you will) Mutant was first used by a Dutch geneticist in 1900 (1901 in some posts) about someone with a Genetic Mutation.

I'm sorry I couldn't find something more official.
No, that's more than enough to answer the question and prove the point. Fox doesn't own the word "mutant", so why couldn't they say it in the "X-Men" movies? :unsure:
That is true. Maybe @Slumdum is the glue here. After Slum goes to bed it does die down. When we're all here it picks up some but when we call it a day it dies again until Slum wakes up

One Slum to rule them all;
One Slum to find them;
One Slum to bring them all;
And as the Lurkers bind them.

When you are searching for the origin of a word, better attach "etymology" to your search.

Hey we might be easting surströmming but you guys claim that hersheys is chocolate.

Ok now hear me out. You say see the inside. But when they are playing possum they are acting like they are dead. Whos to say they didn't throw some blood and guts around to make it look more realistic.
So you're saying possums are now staging "crime scenes"? :ROFLMAO:
Did anything interesting happen while I was gone
Wow. This is one of those times when "back-reading" IS a necessity. :ROFLMAO:

Same here regarding Smart TVs, but for different reasons:

I mean...
...it's bad enough with people...
...but why would I want to surround myself with electronics more intelligent than me?

With enough interaction here, you can probably do it in about a month. I'd strive to get P1 while it's on sale and then you can post without the cool down period - just don't spam.
Are you sure there is a post cool down and not just a like cool down? I never noticed it. In any case to surpass the 3 min between interactions when we have the multi-quote system I think it's something that rarely should be happening. Mostly for me is the opposite, sometimes I delay my answers to avoid spamming (like I'm doing right now).

Smart TV is not an oxymoron? 🤔

I never had a TV, let's not even say a smart one, from the time I left my parents house and that was a loooong time ago!

Hey folks, I'm just popping in to apologize for not really popping in today. My brain's in a bit of a trough, and I don't really have any people-type energy.
Still, I didn't want you thinking I'd forgot about you. Love you all.

I'm sure you probably posted this last week, but I'm tryin' to catch up... :ROFLMAO:
