No, I was talking quite of the opposite, how because in the movies Peter Parker is unmarried, they decided to erase the marriage in the comics. A lot of people got angry. Any person with 2 neurons can understand the movies show the beginning of the story of Peter Parker and still have not reached the point of the comics. It didn't make any sense, more if you take in consideration in these years the Ultimate Universe was ongoing and with good sales.

The only real issue I had with it was WHY would the Mad Titan care if the universe was overpopulated, underpopulated, or just empty (save for him and his Lady Death [not the Chaos Comics one] to rule alone.

The movies have tainted and corrupted the books, but tbth, I've been done with the books (Marvel and DC, specifically) right around the time DC started 52 and Marvel had their own fuck-knuckle cross-over thing going on at the same time (can't remember what it was called).
WHEN crossovers started, originally, they were fun. It was new and entertaining to see heroes within the same Universe interact with each and it made the world seem that much larger- "Secret Wars" and "Crisis on Infinite Earths" were engaging and well told stories at the time. It should've been saved for special events.

The first crossover fever started in the 90s and was stopped by the fans with the only way a publisher understands, cutting down the sales. The learn the lesson and for several years there were not anymore big crossovers, but they come back with the movies much worst than ever before. I don't know if current fans have more money or they are more in number or they just don't have anymore a criteria, but as far as I know the crossover think is ongoing and every year there is at least 1 milking-money macro-event.

This is an ongoing practice that happens every single month. Is fault of the publisher or the fandom who buys it doesn't matter what? As collection I know my limits and I used that just to buy a single copy with the coolest cover. Never bought 2 times the same comic book XD

OR every couple of years they just, for whatever reason, decide to ret-con any character for the Hell of it. WHY? Because now you have to buy all those books too for the NEW origin, NEW heroes, NEW villains, NEW Crap.

Don't even get me started on the "Lazarus Pit" effect... You die. You stay dead. "The Death of Captain America" was a great story, the build-up was excellent, the climax/twist unexpected. Should. Have. Left. It. At. That.

From the success of the Death of Superman, Marvel did that at least with a Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man. But I don't know who is the fan who is tricked by that. Any Marvel reader knew they will come back. The list of resurrected characters is so big that killing a hero or even a minor character of villain has lost any meaning. I would be surprised if they resurrect Ben Parker the next month!!

The only characters we know it doesn't matter they come back to live are the family of the Punisher, he will just kill them again XD (Yeah, that happened I think at least once or twice)

Yeah I'll be interested to see what exactly they are saying that made generating the images CASM, they aren't very specific about it. Based on how the law works for photoshopped images, I'd assume the requirement is that images used in training the AI have to be protected or illegal images, that would seem to fall into the "photo morph" category the case law talks about. But the DoJ has been very vague about what they think, and even if this guy's arrest or conviction on those parts is ultimately overturned he's spending years on bond or in prison waiting for that result.

it depends on the state and the specific case. Typically, just the images themselves can't be used as evidence against you, because the laws surrounding this are still relatively new and it's like trying to prosecute people for murder in a video game. Without actually involving real people in the training or sharing process, you don't have a legitimate case

And whatever he was doing with the 15 year old is an entirely different thing but muddies the waters.

I know that feeling. Used to be real bad for me where I was literally up to 5 or 6 when I had to be up by 7.
Just lying awake, thoughts racing, spiraling, chasing each other - then the glance at the clock and the "I need to go to sleep" thought hammering into the skull.
Sometimes days with no sleep, completely exhausted, but just couldn't fall asleep. If I tried, lightning bolt through the body, instantly awake.
My worst record was somewhere between 72 - 96 hours without sleep. Time got completely muddled in my head, everything was an irritant, just 3-4 days of no sleep.

@Flaming1 if you are still having issues like what kuraiken is describing sleeping your gotta Pavlov yourself.
It's gonna take some time but it's totally worth it. After a long ass time of staying awake when you actually are right about to pass out play either a certain sound on a white noise machine or a playlist or movie. Rinse and repeat this cycle for a couple weeks. Eventually you should be able to play whatever noise you picked when you want to sleep and you will feel tired and fall asleep. I know it sounds crazy but after years of barely getting any sleep and trying multiple different ways to fix it this was the only thing that worked for me.

Ya know, the most annoying thing about being on a vacation trip with others is that you don't really have your own schedule. Gotta work with the pace that everyone else is going at too. So I'm starting to think that I actually hate vacations, in spite of what there is to enjoy about them.

We go on vacations with others but if they are going too slow or want to do different things we just split up for a bit then reconnect later. It's easier that way and less resentment toward each other
