I don't think the casting hurt the movie, the movie was bad. And trying to introduce 8 main characters in one convoluted movie was doomed to fail.
The movie version of the Infinity Gauntlet was a much better version for movies. I got bored of the comics version and dropped it pretty fast.

Oh, you can always find Legos somewhere. Thrift stores, garage sales, actual auctions, apps, FB Market- aside from eBay and other places. If is is SSD then I have no idea how any data can be recover. If it is an old HDD then all data can usually be recover if platters are not damage. It can be costly and takes time to buy new replacement HDD, but should most times be fine to recover. I hope you can reach success.
HDD, so I know I CAN recover the files, it's just a matter of whether I can use a utility to fix the structure and bring it back to readability.

Regarding your question, the movies doesn't have a whole planned unique plot, but more a sequence of stories that pick the action from the previous one and puts the main hero in a different situation.

hmm? depends. If the HDD board is broken then only replace the board with exact model will then let the data be recovered, but sometimes, if you are lucky, yes, you can somehow access. There are many things that can cause the HDD to not read. Do you hear a click click click? Is the platters scratched badly to corrupt files to not read? Is the board for control dead? I forget the other reasons, but no idea if any utility can help. Sometimes yes, if there are files corruptions but it is bit of chance. I was happy to move to SSD, and I storage everything on flashdrive memory stick in case something. Maybe try look online, but unless you know cause of failing then it is like looking for a needle in mountain of hay. At leas this my experience Maybe others will know more.

Thanks - I'd thought there used to be a utility standard on Windows machines with the CHKDSK function built in, but couldn't find it (it also did things like defrags, etc.). I'm thinking now, with all the power shit since the hurricane and a couple of storms, it may have been a power interruption issue, but it only impacted the one, not the other three. Will try that tomorrow. Upstairs now and all that shit is downstairs. Came up here to play a bit of a VN before sleeping.
