I think lot of western people can often be huge eaters. In japan people don't eat those larger size food portions. I went to many place in west and I can feed a family of 6 on one plate. haha I suppose you can order 2 meals if you will still be hungry?

Seriously. Joke aside, the reason is for less portions usually is because presentation and a lot these fine dining place do not put larger portions is literally for presentation. One of my uncles took me to this really expensive fine dining place and literally, one mouth or two mouth and the plate is empty. I never said I thought it was rip off, but I do agree with you, it is really nice to be full from meal rather than eat micro fusion food and be hungry. This why i like the local food. it is cheaper and simple and make you full. Nice.

anyhow, I would still like to go there. it should be enough for me, and yes, looks amazing.

Order 2 meals? At those prices?!
That's the irony- the people that can afford to eat at those places could eat anywhere else and actually be full.
Not eat what looks like someone else's leftovers.

Actually, I just looked them up. I now understand. I think they are sort of gore, or extreme horror. I don't think this style is what I like, but the reviews are good. Like you say, the later ones were not so popular, but yes, they are from 1980s times. Those days the movies were make better than some of today because no CGI. Some old movies are good. Interesting to learn somethings new today.

They're 80's gore (practical effects)- so it's not terrible, like say that movie "Martyrs" (THAT'S a bloody gross movie).
Pinhead and the Cenobite's appearance isn't a body-modification thing- it ties in to the Philosophy of Leviathan (it makes sense, trust me).
It's not like Dee Snider (Twisted Sister \m/) in the movie "Strangeland".

Haha a little of topic, but I know of someone who accidentally swallowed the entire top of a butter knife that unexpectedly broke off. Don't ask me how, but it happened. He had to eat lots of cabbage and sauerkraut, as these fibers wrap around sharp edges and protect your digestive system until the sharp object gets out naturally. Went fine in the end

One of the people on which I couch surfed bet me a case of beer that he could cut himself on a pillow. A PILLOW. A PILLOW!
So, he let me inspect the pillow for a gimmick, then, sure enough, after a single gentle swipe of the pillow, his arm was cut and bleeding.

What in the FUCK, right? So, before I went out to buy him the case, as said I'd buy it no problem... but was it a trick?

It sorta was. He had (I forget the name) the reverse of psoriasis. Psoriasis is skin thickening. He had skin thinning... i.e. onion skin. Just one light rub of his arms on the seam of a pillow was enough to cut him.

My friend took care of a pair of cabybaras at a rescue shelter she worked at. They were friendly and tame, you could pet them and they were chill. But, they are, in fact, giant rats. They crap in the same water they swim in a smell like wild animals.
