Yea, I've only recently gotten into AVNs and I keep finding a bunch of them that seem really good, just to go into the comments and see that the dev removed/censored a bunch of stuff in the latest updates. Luckily, some of them still have patches for uncensored stuff, but it is kinda frustrating.

It is a bummer to not be able to make your own branches of games. Wouldn't it be cool to take a VN you enjoy and choose your own adventure with it if you will? a code your own adventure?

It would just take longer to render. No reason to not learn the skill now. Tutorials are on youtube for most everything even making your own ren'py games.I have thought about doing some rendering of my own. But I need 2500 more in equipment to get the cards i probably want... and then whny not spend an extra $1500 and get the best option? Sigh. Are there guides for this then? I bet there must be)

You can also generate your own ai images (-edit locally) with Comfyui and all of the stuff you need for it can be found on civitai. You should make an account to access the adult version of the site too. And again youtube for the tutorials.

The worst are their explanation of why they are doing censorship. Like with visa and mastercard, that they are doing it to protect their "brand image", like WTF? who buys something and thinks, damn this "thing" i see as wrong can be bought with a visa card, i now feel its visa's fault and have to boycott them. Like payment processors are the most generic and not important entities, that no one cares about, they just want transfers to work, and claiming that they have such important role and they risk so much is soo absurd. Feeling threatened by some groups like collective shout only gives them more credence, making them want to cause more damage. If they did not respond there would be no escalation.
