This seems sort of true, maybe I also played the next but at some point I lost interest. A friend showed my GTA IV and it seemed so complex.

In the end it's about management on the long run (about GTA6). To have a game come out in a finished state with most of promises kept is already something rare nowadays, but the real trial will be about the multiplayer, and politics of the editor / studio about modding

A solo campaign has an end, you can do it multiple times at most, but a time eventually comes when pretty much everything except 2 or 3 easter eggs have been discovered and shared with everyone

Multiplayer on the other hand, and the potential mods that come with it has an infinite potential. (ofc you can also have mods for the solo but you get what i mean)

I am actively playing a game right now that went out more than 20 years ago (jedi academy w the moviebattles 2 overhaul mod), still has a devoted player base and a team that takes care about the mod, still updating it as of today

I never understood the hype for things like GTA. I guess sandboxy stuff just doesn't do it for me. The campaign doesn't justify the price. I can see how people like RP though, it seems entertaining enough.

For sure the main argument for me is the whole multpilayer thing in the end that would make it worth the price.

If it's just about the solo campaign, piracy still works very fine

Putting your accounts at risk on fuck95 is tiring, wouldn't it be better to have this site referenced better?

Unless this site needs to remain a hidden place to avoid pressure like fuck95? But as the time goes, with more and more people coming, it will be a problem to be adressed eventually

Or one tricky way to advertise the site on fuck95 would be to make a top tier h game with innocent references to LC in it lol

fuck95 would ban it, if you all only knew how much money that sites makes per year you'd realize they are protecting their bottom line.

if you love fuck95 as much as I do you'd install a few adblockers & encourage everyone to do the same.
under the guise of not getting malware from download sites of course, fuck95 would remove those who said:
"by installing adblockers you remove fuck95's ability to make ad revenue"

I wouldn't have recommended getting involved in that conversation with your main account; as you've probably noticed, they're very sensitive and get passive-aggressive at the slightest criticism.

That said, there's no way to refer to the site without putting your account at risk. The safest way I can think of so far is to send a simple JPG to the PMs of the unhappy users, like the one in blue text in my signature.

As I've said before, yes, it's inevitable for several reasons, and that thread made me wonder what Jack is doing about the hosting issues. If the site's growth means it has to shut down, then I'd rather it stay as it is.

That's actually something I've had in mind for a long time, to make a game that literally has a message like the LonaRPG intro but with fuck95 and LC, or where you have to reach a certain point to see the reference so it goes under the rug without getting banned.

That thread made me realize something I didn't want to believe, that, to them, pixels are equivalent to CSAM. They're the kind of people who can't tell reality from fiction, which is why they accuse LC of containing CSAM. It's sad and regrettable that fuck95 is being run by people like that, it really doesn't deserve the traffic it gets.

I also noticed some inconsistencies and incoherencies that I could point out, and I haven’t even read half the thread yet. It’s hard for me to do so because reading such arrogant people is unnerving, and it makes me want to pay them a visit to see if they can really maintain the same attitude when faced with the element lead on the periodic table (this is not a death threat or anything like that) or if they’re just keyboard warriors, but if I were to point out every ridiculous thing said there, I’d be writing for half the day, and I don’t think it’s worth it either, considering we all already know who they are and how they act.

I don't like toddlercon, but isn't the point of this site that "Fiction is NOT reality"? And even if it weren't, I will never agree with censorship under any circumstances, much less if it is moral. I will defend both what I like and what I don't because those on the other side have the same right as me to consume any type of fiction that does not harm anyone. I don't like GTA, but I'll defend your right to steal and kill 3D models for as long as you want.

Spanish speaker here. I have a reasonable command of English, but I still rely on Google Translate and DeepL at all times because I tend to confuse terms. Writing here isn't a challenge for me, and in fact, I take the advantage of it to brush up on my English in the meantime; on the other hand, having a sensible discussion on fuck95 is a whole other story.

Don't worry about it. I also don't like getting my hands dirty, and a fleeting violent feeling won't make me leave my house to look for some random person on the internet. It's just a way of saying that I can't stand arrogant people; they bring out the worst in me.
