AI images and videos have become so realistic that it’s almost impossible to separate them from the real thing. My Instagram feed is absolutely flooded with AI accounts now, and you really have to study the posts to make a judgment call.

It’s getting to the point where it's messing with my perception. I recently saw a clip with a weird filter and instantly thought it was AI, only for the comments to rightfully point out it was real. Even after verifying it myself, it's wild how easily our eyes get tricked now.

One thing that drives me nuts is the number of AI cat or dog videos there are on Instagram now. Sure, it's low hanging fruit, but it is also a fully saturated market. Why would I want to watch an AI cat being silly when I can watch an actual cat being silly. I just don't get the incentive to post it.

Indeed, but the problem is that a load of people still can't identify if it's real or not, and it's only going to get better. Unfortunate.

Completely agree. I lost my copywriter job to AI back in 2022 and since then, whenever someone says that AI can't do something, I mentally add the word "...yet."

AI can't write a movie script... yet.
AI can't design a video game from scratch... yet.
AI can't create the world's funniest cat video... yet.

It isn't a happy future, but I'd rather acknowledge reality rather than pretend the technology has remained at the same level it was four years ago.

Yeah, it's going to feel rough for the people who get displaced, but I atleast hope that it will be more positively impactful to humanity like the industrial revolution, rather than us being blinded by it's advantages only. I suppose time will tell.

I don't think these will ever happen, at least with the current tech. Current AI is more or less just copying what it was trained on. It doesn't have the ability to be truly creative.

But that's the key word, isn't it? 'Current' . Technology will always outpace our imaginations in just a few years, just like it has for the past century

Oh, I am on the same page about creativity. That's a uniquely human trait, thank God. But my fear is, at what point does AI become so good at copying/remixing things that its output becomes indistinguishable from actual art.

I've read of a likelihood there will eventually be very few jobs left for humans so there would have to be a sort of universal basic income - and it would have to be good enough to live comfortably on.

indirectly lending out persons close to MC (LIs, family, girlfriends, other relatives) to others.

Meaning, having someone who coerces, convinces or forces a LI to engage in hot activities with someone else,
while the MC watches/participates and controls the situation without the knoledge of the LI.

Is there a name for this (it's something in the netorase/netorare context, but not exactly)?

Are there any games where this is possible?

I know that Twisted Thoughts has a scene nearly like this, but not fully on the point...

That would be nice. I fear that is only a narrative to placate people who are afraid of losing their jobs to AI in the future.

Honestly, I think the most likely outcome is that everyone is working much, much harder for much much less.

At what? When things get that bad is when countries tend to become Communist. More than likely people will only vote for those proposing a universal basic income and having AI/machines do things will be way more profitable than paying even enough to survive on. It will be cheaper for the companies to pay enough in taxes to give a UBI than employ people even at barely enough to survive wages. Not to mention what would happen if they don't...

Oh, I'm not necessarily saying that UBI won't exist in some form or another in many countries. I just can't see it happening in some of the more... Oh, hell with being subtle, I cannot see it possibly happening in the US, at least not in the next few decades. In Canada, maybe? Europe?

But I think that the US will let things continue to get worse and worse until something breaks. And at that point, I think it will go poorly for the people, not the system.

I think I'm just more pessimistic about change happening in a positive direction nowadays. The last decade has been tough, and even when there is something that forces positive changes to the system (work from home, a form of UBI, medical advancements) they are rolled back as soon as they can get away with it.

Sadly this sounds like a very specific "fetish", like you said mind manipulation, netorase/netorare, cuckolding are somewhat included but i too can't put a name to the whole scenario i am afraid.
