ah I suppose I meant that in the way they were used on those sites. basically there is of course the standard way of showing your interest level in something via likes, hearts etc. the rep system used by rori/lolicit was a way of showing more if you so inclined. ex, I really like this image I'll heart it and add 30 rep. The amount you could add was multiplicative of your current rank based off of your interactions (postings, likes etc) I think there was also a limit to how much you could do in a day but I can't remember.

we do have our own way of doing that sort of thing, for example we have the 3 tabs and the < and > bars underneath that show your activity. Plus we also have the vouch system. if you click on a persons profile you can vouch for them and give a reason why, just as a little personal way of saying this person is cool.

unless that's not what you meant and you meant badge wise.

I FINALLY SET UP MY NEW PC! My old one was dying hard, so I sunk into my spare parts and savings.

They should put all these coins into the vault! Anyone with less than 2000 coins, are allowed to read further.

Guys, we should rob the vault, western style. Horses, lever actions, cowboy hats, all of it. How many horses does it take to drag the vault like in fast 5?

the forum has this function, its just not enabled (for good reason)

It is starting to feel like we are in cyberpunk dystopia where you have to scrounge for parts to build a system. I fixed a system for someone in May 2025, replacing the SSD with a 1 TB Samsung (no Dram) for $69.99. That same drive is $274.09 right now. The price has gone up 4x in a little over a year! This is completely unsustainable.

there used to be a trading / gifting system but it was removed because of abuse
so, everything was removed

on RW there were points for posting / commenting / reacting
you could give those points to another person as a "thank you"

its was a reaction + a bonus (there was no buy & sell on RW)

Oh, definitely, but I likely wouldn't have bought all the parts anyway. All of the ones I reused are practically brand new, they just didn't fit in the old case

I still have no idea what this says:

g̸̡̟̫͛̾͝ḯ̸̦̦̽͒v̵̼͇̪̓̓͝e̴̞̾̽͜͝ m̴̠͉͙̈́̐͆e̴̼͕̘͐͘͠ y̴͍̠̺̓͒̈́o̴͕̘͚͒͋͑u̵͖͉͖͛̿̽r̸͚̙̞̓͐͌ ś̵̻̞̀͘o̸̦͍͔̓͝͝u̸̘͔͙͊͘l̸̻̘̒̓̽

Choose one:

1. You gain infinite wealth, but you will never have any friends or romantic partners. You may have acquaintances, but nobody will ever become your friend or lover.

2. You effortlessly connect with people. You can form friendships and romantic relationships with almost anyone, and you'll never lack companionship or meaningful human connection. However, you must work 12 hours a day, every day, for the rest of your life.
