Hey man, since you're asking about Divinity: Original Sin, let me give it to you straight as someone who's been through the trenches. It’s an absolute masterpiece in the CRPG genre, but I’ll be honest—it’s definitely not for everyone.

First off, a quick warning: this game is tough. People joke that it feels like taking a college exam. If you’re used to games with fast-paced action, auto-pathing, and mindless button-mashing, you might want to pull your hair out during the first few hours. The combat system is incredibly hardcore. You aren't just managing four characters' positioning; you have to constantly think about elemental combos (like soaking enemies with water before hitting them with lightning). Early on, the enemy stats scale up pretty aggressively, and if you don't know what you're doing, they will absolutely wreck you.

On top of that, the quest guidance is practically non-existent. A lot of hidden clues and puzzles will leave you stuck staring at your screen until you finally break down and check a wiki. Also, opinions on the story are a bit mixed—some love the massive freedom, while others feel the main plot gets a little underwhelming or weird towards the end.

BUT! Once you get past that initial learning curve, the "true flavor" kicks in. Its biggest selling point is the unmatched freedom and tactical depth. You can play as a lawful good paladin, or turn into a total kleptomaniac who steals from every NPC in sight. You can talk your way out of fights, or literally teleport a boss off a cliff. When you finally build a solid party synergy and outsmart a seemingly impossible battle, the sense of achievement is just incredible.

So here’s my ultimate advice: If you love grinding through mechanics, thinking outside the box, or have a buddy to co-op and suffer with, do not miss this game. But if you just want to chill after a long day, maybe just watch some Let's Plays on YouTube instead.

Whatever you choose: SAVE OFTEN, use the wiki without shame, and good luck out there in Rivellon!
Divinity: Original Sin was honestly enjoyable to play, I liked that you could play as an undead in the second one, added a nice challenge to the game since mechanics changed somewhat due to needing poison to heal and npcs attacking if they knew you were undead.

What kind of game is Fable?
I visited the steam page and looking at the pictures i don't know if the game will be open world like Elder Scrolls or is it gonna be like FF
Probably a sue-do open world if its like the old ones. Like big zones linked together, not sure if that's like FF or not. It's a 3rd person action RPG though so the combat won't be turn based or anything.

Also, anybody played the new gothic remake yet? Looks cool, just not sure about full price yet.

Nope. Never mind. I just read the reading score thing.

2/75

Fuuuuuuuuuuuu-
You just need a couple of days around here to reach 75, don't worry. I was at 30 yesterday.

another $2.00 bag of perogies for dinner, i love being poor.

it's $1.49 more expensive for a tub of sour cream than it is for 2 pounds of perogies & one tub of sour cream doesn't even last for a 2 pound bag

Have you ever noticed the fonts they use in adult games? In the Ren'Py engine, Deja Vu Sans is the most common one you'll see, but I think the Open Sans Italic used in Dreams of Desire is really striking. Do you have a favourite?
I love how niche this question is. I don't have a favorite per se, but I fucking HATE the scratchy font used for horror/scray/monster text. It's such a bitch to read half the time.

What I hate is when it's like yellow text on a white background. How the fuck do you expect anyone to read that?
