I've been here about 6 months & all the changes have blown my mind so much that i've given up on using anything cause i know it will be broken soon, be removed soon or be replaced soon

Haven't been here that long, but it really feels like almost every time you open the site something large has changed - i have given up following >_<

IDK if LISC is gonna get another season as I havent seen anything the dev has said as of late but the renders are some of the best ive seen IMO and has amazing foot fetish/family content.
Light of my Life the dev is extremely passionate very clearly and the story is shockingly good while also being extremely hot. Ive seen some complain about not liking the renders for that one byt im a fan personally tbh. Light of My Life is definitely one that should be checked out. Takes a bit between updates but definitely worthwhile.

Yes, but I prefer finished games because I like being stuck in the middle of the story and I prefer waiting for the game's development to be completed, with the exception of abandoned games because there's almost no hope of their return.

My New Family, that was a great game that was completed. It was probably the first adult title that got me into VN games.

Does this mean that purchased ranks need to be purchased again with every system update?

As of yet, previous ranks have been preserved and grandfathered in to whatever new system or changes they've made. I don't recall ever seeing a time when ranks had to be repurchased with the exception of the temporary ranks.

Perhaps, but it depends on the specifications you prefer in a game. I haven't finished many games myself, but my favorite genres are Harem and Incest. If I like a game but it doesn't have Harem and Incest, I'm hesitant to play it. The genres I try to avoid as much as possible are Netorare (NTR). So, what are your preferred specifications? I might recommend games based on those specifications. Keep in mind that I haven't finished many games, so the games I recommend might not be ones I've played myself.
