Lewd Coin is the newer currency, while Activity Coin is the original one. You can convert AC into LC at a 10:1 ratio. Currently, everything can be purchased with AC, whereas LC is only accepted for certain items, though it's expected to be usable for everything in the near future.

If you just stay active in multiple threads and forums (in good faith, no spam), you'll get there faster than you think.
