It's essentially a place for pirating music and audio. I'm not entirely sure if they allow other kinds of content or not, though. I don't think they have an actual website, so you have to use their desktop app, I'm also not sure if they have a mobile app. If they do, you'd have to get an apk cause it would absolutely go against the tos of any appstore i could think of

If age verification is absolutely a necessity for accessing certain online spaces, there absolutely ways that it can be done anonymously. For example, you could bundle age verification tokens with already age restricted items at the store like cough syrup and alcohol. no possibility of a data leak like that.

there would be a lively black market for these tokens then.

you can't check age without checking identity, any such attempt will have a thousand workarounds before legislation is finished to require it.
ask teens in australia about their social media laws.

yeah, but there is going to be workarounds for whatever method of age verification you could think of. Children could always just take their parents id out of their wallet for like 5 minutes to go access a site they shouldn't. Kids in australia verified their ages as adults with pictures of literal cartoon characters too. But at least this way there is no data harvesting.

That would just mean there would be a black marcket for those tokens. Unless you think young people do not circumvent the age restriction on alcohol daily already.

I prefer my internet as free as possible, dealing with the consequences that freedom brings, rather than the alternative. Theoretically if everyone was obligated to wear a 360 ° camera on their head we would live in a mostly crimeless world. A world that no one but the ones in control of the CCTV system would want to live in.

And lets not forget that age restrictions do not seem to be solving any major world problems so far. In fact, so far, the politicians that push for it seem to just want the lazy parents' vote.

I’m currently working on three new features for LewdCorner.


The first is a brand-new Slots system. This is not the old slots and it is not a recycled version of anything we had before. This one is being hand-coded from the ground up by me, which means it will be built specifically for LC and designed the way I want it to function.


The second feature is a Giftbox Roller, which will use Donation Coins. Before anyone judges it too quickly, hear me out, because this is meant to be more than just a basic gamble feature. The Giftbox Roller will have a chance to reward users with a wide variety of prizes, including any rank and Activity Coins up to 3,000. The goal is to make it feel exciting, rewarding, and worth using, rather than just being another throwaway system.


The third feature I’m working on is Blackjack, including both single-player and multiplayer blackjack rooms. So whether you want to play on your own or go against other users, that is something I’m building toward as well.


In short, I’m putting time into creating three new custom features: a fully hand-coded Slots system, a Donation Coin-based Giftbox Roller with valuable possible rewards, and both single-player and multiplayer Blackjack rooms. These are all meant to add more things to do on the site and make the overall experience more interactive and rewarding.

My thoughts exactly. No matter what we do to restrict anything, people will find a way around it. Unless, of course we go to impossible extremes that create other problems. And besides, there are already parental control tools inbuilt with any device that can access the internet anyways. there is no reason that websites should be collecting our data "to see if we're old enough"
