I like to add some chili paste, lime juice and a sprinkle of coriander to shrimp ramen - not quite like the chili lime shrimp I've had in restaurants, but its a nice little twist.Call me crazy but I've gotten addicted to adding ground pepper to my instant noodles (Along with a couple of other things, including the default packet they come with.)

Well of course I let him out...Papa Spoon needs his hoes on the track.I think the more important question was who let him out of the shame corner in the first place? I thought that's where he lives now. Hmmmm, I'm guessing it was @Teaspoon
You’re not crazy; instant noodles without some additional spices just aren’t the sameCall me crazy but I've gotten addicted to adding ground pepper to my instant noodles (Along with a couple of other things, including the default packet they come with.)
Lime juice... that sounds like a good idea for my next try. So far, I'm adding ground pepper, ground chilli, some salt, some msg, some soy sauce and the packet it comes with. Though I haven't had ramen ever, don't get those kinds of restoranuts around where I live.I like to add some chili paste, lime juice and a sprinkle of coriander to shrimp ramen - not quite like the chili lime shrimp I've had in restaurants, but its a nice little twist.![]()
Completely agree! Only a problem when you're seasoning for more than just yourself though. My family cannot handle spicy at all, but I adore itYou should always season to suit your taste.
