Tough question... Used to drink Coca-Cola in the past, but right now I only drink it when I'm outside (like when going to the beach or something), and instead I drink the supermarket own brand, as it tastes really similar and it has less sugar. (Not really into the "light" or "zero" drinks tho, if I want a sugar-free drink, I make it myself and usually tastes better)

so after thinking it over I think I will give resident evil 7 a try. I did want to play the games in order but I still have to finish 2 -_- plus I want to see how a resident evil game play in VR.

The Remakes fuck with the Lore, so playing RE7 is generally better before RE2 Remake, all the new RE games use the RE Engine. So, the gameplay, item storage, and menus, are basically identical. With minor additions and changes between games, and since RE7 released before RE2 Remake it's fine to do RE7>RE2R. Only if you played the original games, of course. Otherwise, play how you want. Ethan is slow as ass when moving, so going back to RE7 after 2/3/4 Remakes, and Village is kind of excruciating. VR is pretty damn good in 7 and 4 remake, never played it on Village. I'd recommend playing normally before VR, though. Changes the experience, usually for the better. Intended experience and then immersive experience, lots of fun.

Slum! Trying to. Bit tired this morning, slept terribly but at least I have off so it's not too bad. Nothing copious amounts of coffee won't fix.

Once the brain fog is lifted I plan to do a bit of backreading - been neglecting the forum a bit lately and I apologize if I've missed anyone's posts.

For some reason I haven't been getting consistent notifications and noticed a bunch of posts I never would have seen if I hadn't backread.

What is your beverage of choice while browsing LC?

In the morning I drink black coffee or black tea. Later tea matcha, beer or even a good wine. I also like to drink dark chocolate. Sometimes the wine goes on till late night. Occasionally scotch, Japanese or Irish whisky, vodka or rum.
But I don't drink sodas, as they are not healthy.

Same, I don't really drink, but I got hammered a bunch in College. Did those 2-3am Waffle/Pancake places, piss drunk. Realized I don't like sweet stuff in the mornings, and because I used Coffee to Sober up, and generally only got a few hours of sleep in College, I grew a fondness for black coffee in the morning, no milk/cream, no sweetener.

Unless I get off a flight, I found something sweet calms and relaxes me. So, I grab a candy bar or something, I usually don't eat junk food or snacks, but that is my exception, besides Holidays, which gives me an excuse to eat pie and stuff.

Tonight, I'll be enjoying some absinthe. My local liquor store called me yesterday morning and let me know they finally got my special order and I picked it up on my way to work but didn't have a chance to enjoy any last night.

Tonight, I'll be enjoying some absinthe. My local liquor store called me yesterday morning and let me know they finally got my special order and I picked it up on my way to work but didn't have a chance to enjoy any last night.

I've never had absinthe before. whats it like?

The most prominent flavor is black licorice.

Especially if you drink it straight, which I do *not* recommend. It burns like hell and not in a pleasant way - it will leave your tongue sore and numb for a bit.

When diluted from being prepared properly, it's a rather soft drink, but you need to enjoy the taste of black licorice or you'll hate it. There are other flavor notes too, but the licorice is the most prominent.

You also need to take your time with it because even diluted it's a pretty high ABV and it sneaks up on you fast if you forget that you're drinking a strong liquor.
