I've only watched Christopher Eccleston (some? all?), David Tennant, Matt Smith (most?) and like one or two of Peter Capaldi...the episode Blink was really good but also horrifying and if someone were to watch starting with that episode, I feel like they would get the wrong impression of the show as it's so extremely scary compared to all the other episode I've watched.

At this point, I would say, I'm mostly into 3D visual novels now.

R.E.P.O at a glance looks interesting. We played Grounded quite a bit and some Deep Rock Galactic, which Steam says are similar. I've wish listed it and will review it more later.
One game that my friend recommended to me last week called Dredge, just went on Steam sale, I'm thinking about pick-up up that one, although I rarely play solo games these days, that's usually AVN time for me.

I play both, but I would say I like 2d more (3d is also nice, I sometimes play games made with HS, HS2 and Koikatsu, but if done wrong, it can look REALLY bad)

most of my favorite 2d vn are fantasy or action genre like grisaia, clockwork leyline, 9-nine, and neko nin exheart i havent found to many good western visual novel yet though
