Baka answer: The sky looks blue because the ocean is blue and reflects its color up. The sun shines down, and the water reflects light back up into the sky, mostly blue. So the sky kind of copies the ocean. That’s why it’s blue.

Well, the sky is blue during the day because the Sun's light causes all of the water molecules in the sky to reflect the ocean like a giant mirror.

At night there is no sun to cause this reflection which is why we can see the stars.
